Doctors test Computer-Guided dosing to get Kids' antibiotics just right

NCT ID NCT07315438

Summary

This study tested a new computer-guided method for calculating antibiotic doses in critically ill children. The goal was to see if this 'precision dosing' approach could more accurately hit the right drug levels in the blood compared to standard weight-based dosing. Researchers compared the two methods in 41 children, looking at how well the computer model predicted drug levels and monitored for safety.
