First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at whether reducing the amount of liquid food given through a tube before turning patients onto their stomach (prone position) can lower the risk of stomach problems like bloating and vomiting. The trial will include 259 adults with severe lung failure who are on breathing machines in the ICU. The goal is to find a safer way to manage feeding during this common treatment.
