Summary

This study tests whether watching a 30-minute online video before hip or knee replacement surgery can help patients use fewer opioids afterward. The video teaches safe use of painkillers and coping techniques. About 220 adults are taking part, and researchers will track how much opioid medication they use in the first 72 hours and at six weeks after surgery.
