Summary
This study tested whether a pre-surgery counseling session could reduce confusion and agitation after waking up from anesthesia in people having nasal surgery. 256 adults were randomly assigned to receive either standard care or extra education before their operation. The goal was to see if the counseling helped patients recover more calmly.
