New asthma drug PRA-216 enters early human testing

Summary
This study tests a new drug, PRA-216, for people with mild-to-moderate asthma. First, healthy volunteers will receive single or multiple doses to check safety. Then, asthma patients will receive the drug to see if it reduces airway inflammation. The goal is to find a safe dose and see early signs of effectiveness.
