Summary
This study tested whether community-based outreach could encourage women in Puerto Rico to get recommended cancer screenings for breast, cervical, and colorectal cancer. About 500 women who were overdue for screenings participated. Researchers used interviews and follow-up calls to understand barriers and help women schedule appointments.
