Bionic knee study aims to help amputees walk better

Summary
This study tests whether a powered prosthetic knee (the Ossur Power Knee) helps people with above-knee amputations walk better than a standard passive knee. About 20 adults aged 45-75 who have used a prosthetic leg for at least a year will take part. Researchers will measure walking speed, energy use, and how easily they stand up from a chair.
