Doctors test a new prescription for poverty: a helper for bills and benefits
NCT ID NCT05091957
Summary
This study is testing if having a support worker in a pediatrician's office can help low-income families with young children. The worker helps parents apply for government benefits, file taxes, and find community resources. Researchers want to see if this support reduces family stress, increases income, and improves the child's health and development.
