NCT ID NCT05375968

First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study looks at why eating, especially carbs, makes POTS symptoms like dizziness and rapid heartbeat worse. Researchers think a gut hormone called GIP may cause extra blood pooling in the belly after meals. They will compare 25 POTS patients and 25 healthy people, and test if blocking GIP can reduce symptoms.
