Scientists search for clues in the blood of POTS patients

NCT ID NCT02196376

Summary

This study aims to understand if people with Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) have different levels of certain antibodies and markers of inflammation in their blood compared to people without POTS. Researchers at Vanderbilt University are enrolling 212 participants, including those with POTS and healthy volunteers, to collect blood samples and health questionnaires. The goal is to learn more about what might cause POTS, particularly whether it's linked to past viral infections or autoimmune activity.
