Could your slouch be weakening your core? new study investigates link to chronic neck pain
NCT ID NCT07240090
Summary
This study aims to understand if a forward head posture is connected to weaker trunk muscles and reduced awareness of lower back position in people with cervical radiculopathy, a condition causing neck and arm pain from a pinched nerve. Researchers will measure posture, core strength, and body awareness in 64 adults with this chronic pain. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help improve future physical therapy and rehabilitation programs.
