First-Ever look at hidden pregnancy vessels could prevent complications
NCT ID NCT07422181
Summary
This study is testing a new ultrasound method to see tiny blood vessels in the womb right after a baby is born. Researchers want to know if they can spot these vessels, called spiral arteries, which are crucial for a healthy pregnancy. If successful, this could lead to ways to detect problems like pre-eclampsia much earlier in pregnancy. The study involves just 5 participants who have recently given birth.
