First seen Nov 11, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tested two common blood pressure pills in 70 new mothers with high blood pressure after childbirth. One pill combines a water pill with a vessel relaxer; the other is a calcium blocker. The goal was to see which one controls blood pressure better in the first week after delivery. Both are already used in standard care.
