NCT ID NCT07520409
First seen Apr 13, 2026 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tests whether combining a drawing-in maneuver (pulling in the belly) with resisted ankle dorsiflexion (pulling the foot upward against resistance) can help women with postpartum diastasis recti — a separation of the abdominal muscles after childbirth. About 42 women who are 6 weeks to 6 months postpartum will be assigned to either this combo exercise or a control group. The goal is to see if the exercises reduce pain, narrow the muscle gap, improve strength, and boost quality of life.
