Summary

This completed Phase 3 trial tested whether an oral medication called LPCN 1154A could safely reduce severe depression symptoms in women with postpartum depression. The study involved 90 women who were within one year of giving birth and had severe depression. Participants were randomly assigned to receive either the study drug or a placebo pill to compare effects on mood, anxiety, and overall well-being.
