First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a mobile app designed for birth control counseling helps new mothers choose and keep using effective contraception. About 97 women who had just given birth were split into three groups: one used the app, one got in-person counseling, and one received standard care. Researchers checked their choices and satisfaction at 6 and 12 weeks after birth.
