Summary
This study works with 250 high-risk pregnant and postpartum women, their families, and healthcare providers in five rural Mississippi counties. The goal is to improve trust in the healthcare system, increase health literacy, and help new moms attend follow-up visits after giving birth. Researchers will test a community-based communication strategy to reduce maternal deaths and health disparities.
