Summary
This research program aims to prevent severe health problems and deaths among new mothers in the Mississippi Delta by improving trust in healthcare and community support. It will work with 250 high-risk postpartum women, their families, and local health workers using home visits and better communication strategies. The goal is to understand what these communities need and create a system that keeps mothers healthier after giving birth.
