First seen Apr 13, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding stability-oriented breathing exercises to standard Kegel exercises helps postpartum women heal better. About 60 women who had C-sections and have a small abdominal gap (3-5 cm) will do either Kegels alone or Kegels plus breathing exercises three times a week for eight weeks. Researchers will measure changes in pain, pelvic floor strength, and the gap between abdominal muscles.
