Study tests which blood pressure pill works best after birth

Summary

This study compares two common blood pressure medications (nifedipine and enalapril) for women with high blood pressure after giving birth. Researchers want to see if both medications are equally effective at controlling blood pressure and preventing hospital readmissions. The study will include 850 women who develop high blood pressure during pregnancy or have existing high blood pressure.
