New IV iron shows promise for Post-Surgery anemia recovery

Summary
This study tested different iron treatments in 187 adults who had major surgery and developed anemia due to iron deficiency. Patients received either an IV iron called Polyglucoferron, another IV iron (Ferric Carboxymaltose), or oral iron pills. The goal was to see which approach restores healthy hemoglobin levels fastest and safest. Results help doctors choose the best option for quick recovery after surgery.
