First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tests whether a health education program that respects local cultural beliefs can help new mothers in Ethiopia use postnatal care services more often. About 864 pregnant women will receive four monthly education sessions from trained midwives during regular check-ups. The goal is to see if this approach increases the number of mothers who attend at least two postnatal visits and improves their knowledge of newborn care.
