NCT ID NCT07095296

First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tests whether a health education program that respects local beliefs can help new mothers in Ethiopia use postnatal care services more often and learn better ways to care for their newborns. About 864 pregnant women will receive four monthly education sessions from trained midwives during their regular check-ups. The goal is to see if this approach increases the number of mothers who attend at least two postnatal visits after giving birth.
