Summary
This study tested whether mailing informational postcards to patients with heart devices (like pacemakers or defibrillators) could help them reconnect their home monitors after losing connection. Over 1,300 patients from VA hospitals took part. The goal was to see if a simple reminder could improve remote monitoring and keep patients connected to their care team.
