Postcard reminders get heart patients back online
NCT ID NCT07464834
Summary
This study tested whether mailing informational postcards could help patients reconnect their heart device monitors after they became disconnected. Researchers sent postcards to over 2,700 veterans whose remote heart monitors had stopped transmitting data. The postcards reminded patients about the importance of monitoring and provided contact information to get help reconnecting.
