Could a simple supplement help women conceive?
NCT ID NCT07278024
Summary
This small study tested whether an 8-week treatment with a postbiotic (a substance made by helpful bacteria) could improve the balance of bacteria in the vagina. It involved 15 women aged 30-45 who had experienced at least two unsuccessful IVF attempts. Researchers analyzed vaginal samples before and after the treatment to see if it increased good bacteria and changed the overall bacterial community, hoping this might create a better environment for embryo implantation in a future IVF cycle.
