NCT ID NCT07268846
Summary
This study is testing if taking a special gut health supplement (a postbiotic) for 7 days before colon cancer surgery can help patients recover better. About 164 patients will be randomly assigned to take either the supplement or a placebo pill before their operation. The main goal is to see if the supplement can reduce serious complications after surgery by 50%.
