NCT ID NCT07278024

First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a postbiotic (a beneficial bacterial product) can improve the vaginal microbiome in 15 infertile women aged 30-45 who had at least two failed IVF attempts. Participants took the postbiotic for 8 weeks, and researchers checked changes in vaginal bacteria and pregnancy rates in a subsequent frozen embryo transfer. The goal is to see if this simple treatment can help improve fertility outcomes.
