Hospital investigates why patients get chilly after surgery

NCT ID NCT04307095

Summary

This study aimed to find out how often adult patients experience an unintentional drop in body temperature (below 36°C or 96.8°F) after surgery at Siriraj Hospital. Researchers looked at 742 patients to measure this rate and identify the factors linked to getting too cold after an operation. The goal was to gather information to help improve patient care, not to test a new treatment.
