New therapy aims to unlock pain relief for stroke survivors
NCT ID NCT06763796
Summary
This study is testing a new physical therapy method called the Postural Decryption Technique to see if it works better than traditional massage for shoulder pain after a stroke. Researchers will enroll 48 people with post-stroke shoulder pain and randomly assign them to receive either the new therapy or massage for 4 weeks. The main goal is to see which treatment reduces pain more and helps improve shoulder movement and daily activities.
