Letting patients move freely after surgery may speed recovery

NCT ID NCT06909058

First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving patients fewer activity restrictions after minimally invasive gynecologic surgery helps them recover better. About 148 adults having laparoscopic surgery will be split into two groups: one with standard limits (no heavy activity for 2 weeks) and one with no restrictions (they decide their own activity). Participants fill out short surveys at 1 and 2 weeks after surgery to compare recovery and any complications.
