NCT ID NCT03774420

First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at whether the drugs used during breast surgery (propofol and remifentanil) affect a person's thinking and memory after the operation. Researchers will test 200 women before and after surgery using simple mental exercises. The goal is to find out how common these thinking changes are and if they relate to the amount of anesthesia given.
