Study asks: should we tell patients to rest after surgery?
NCT ID NCT06909058
Summary
This study aims to find out if allowing patients to return to their normal daily activities right after minimally invasive gynecologic surgery leads to better recovery than following standard two-week activity restrictions. Researchers will compare recovery surveys from 148 women who are either told to restrict activities for two weeks or allowed to resume normal activities at their own pace. The goal is to improve the recovery experience by testing whether fewer restrictions help patients feel better faster.
