Doctors track new device for blocking problem blood vessels
NCT ID NCT04044443
Summary
This study is collecting real-world information on the safety and performance of two medical devices called IMPEDE and IMPEDE-FX plugs. These plugs are used to intentionally block off specific blood vessels in the arms, legs, or other peripheral areas to control various vascular conditions. The registry is following 108 adult patients to see how well the plugs work to occlude the target vessel and to monitor for any serious complications.
