Summary
This study looked at 75 women who had planned C-sections to see if different pain relief methods affect how soon they start breastfeeding and whether they breastfeed exclusively. The researchers compared TAP blocks (a type of abdominal wall injection) with other pain management options. The goal was to find out if better pain control helps more women breastfeed in the first hour and continue exclusively for 72 hours after birth.
