First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether a structured 6-week exercise program, starting 6 weeks after a cesarean section, can help close the gap in abdominal muscles (diastasis recti) and improve pelvic blood flow and sexual function. 120 first-time mothers will be randomly assigned to either the exercise program or standard postpartum care. Researchers will use ultrasound to measure changes and a questionnaire to assess sexual health.
