First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study follows 700 liver transplant patients to see how portal vein thrombosis (a blood clot in the main vein to the liver) affects recovery and survival. Researchers will compare those with and without clots to find risk factors and build a tool to predict clots before surgery. The goal is to improve outcomes for future transplant patients.
