Zap to stop the stumble? new device aims to steady concussion patients

NCT ID NCT07466589

Summary

This study is testing if a small, wearable device that delivers gentle electrical stimulation behind the ears can help improve balance and walking in people who have had a concussion. Researchers will measure how 32 participants perform on standard balance and walking tests while wearing the device at different stimulation levels. The goal is to see if this stimulation can help steady people who have had lingering dizziness or imbalance for more than a month after their head injury.
