First seen May 19, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether a CT scan 3 months after a TAVI procedure can guide blood thinner use better than lifelong aspirin. About 2,500 people with severe aortic valve narrowing who do not need blood thinners for other reasons will take part. The goal is to reduce strokes and blood clots without raising bleeding risk.
