Tongue zapper aims to steady stroke Survivors' steps

Summary

This study is testing a portable device called PoNS that gently stimulates the tongue. It is used alongside physical therapy exercises to see if it can safely improve walking and balance in people who had a stroke more than six months ago. Researchers will follow 30 participants for 12 weeks of treatment and another 12 weeks to see if any benefits last.
