First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looks at how the gut microbiome and its viruses influence the way menopausal women process polyphenols (natural compounds in plants). Researchers will give 90 women a polyphenol-rich supplement and measure changes in blood fats, gut bacteria, and quality of life. The goal is to create personalized nutrition plans that reduce heart disease risk and ease menopause symptoms.
