New drug combo targets superbug pneumonia in hospitals

Summary
This study tests a new antibiotic combination (polymyxin E2 mesylate given through a vein and inhaled) for treating hospital-acquired pneumonia caused by hard-to-treat bacteria. About 48 adults will participate to see if the treatment clears the infection safely. The goal is to control the disease, not cure it permanently.
