Last-Resort antibiotics face off against superbugs
NCT ID NCT06966284
Summary
This study looks back at medical records to compare how well two powerful antibiotics, polymyxin B and colistin, work against dangerous, hard-to-treat bacterial infections. It will involve about 480 adults who had serious infections like pneumonia or bloodstream infections caused by bacteria resistant to common antibiotics. The main goal is to see which treatment leads to better recovery and lower risk of death.
