NCT ID NCT02444000
First seen Jan 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looked at people with a specific type of brain tumor (anaplastic glioma with 1p/19q codeletion). The goal was to see if using chemotherapy alone could delay the need for radiation therapy, which can cause thinking and memory problems. About 280 patients took part, and researchers measured how long they lived without losing mental function. The approach aims to keep quality of life while still controlling the disease.
