First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 05, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looked at a new way to teach medical students how to use a portable ultrasound machine at the patient's bedside. The goal was to reduce in-person contact while still making sure students learn well. About 69 fifth- and sixth-year medical students took part, with some learning through small groups, peer teaching, and remote supervision, and others through traditional methods. The study measured their skills with an exam and collected their feedback.
