First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looked at a new way to teach medical students how to use portable ultrasound machines at the patient's bedside. The goal was to reduce physical contact during training by using small groups, peer teaching, and remote supervision. About 69 medical students took part, and their skills were tested with a practical exam. The study aimed to see if this low-contact method is as effective as traditional training.
