First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study looked at using a simple ultrasound (POCUS) instead of MRI to check on Crohn's disease in the small intestine. Researchers interviewed doctors and patients to understand how to best use this tool in the NHS. The study was stopped early and only included 4 people, so results are very limited.
