Jump higher, stand stronger: new stretching method tested on hoops players

NCT ID NCT07352163

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether a type of stretching called proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) can improve how high basketball players jump and how well they keep their balance. Thirty healthy male basketball players, aged 18 to 35, will either do PNF exercises three times a week for six weeks or be in a control group that does nothing new. Their jumping and balance will be measured before and after the program to see if the training helps.
