First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looked at over 1,000 patients who had a CT-guided procedure to mark lung nodules before surgery. Researchers compared a special hookwire technique (PDTH) with dye-only marking to see if it increased the risk of a collapsed lung (pneumothorax). The goal was to understand safety differences between the two methods.
