Summary
This study looked at whether a clinical pharmacist could help increase pneumococcal vaccination rates in patients at high risk for infection before they leave the hospital. Researchers enrolled 167 adults who were not up-to-date on their vaccines. The goal was to see if the pharmacist's involvement led to more patients receiving the recommended vaccine protocol.
