New Kids' pneumonia shot tested alongside standard vaccines

Summary
This study tested the safety and immune response of a new pneumococcal vaccine (SP0202) in healthy infants and toddlers. The goal was to see how well it worked and how safe it was when given at the same time as other standard childhood vaccines. Researchers enrolled 852 children to compare the new vaccine to an already approved one (Prevnar 13).
